Welcome to Joyous Melodies & Art!  I enjoy working with students from as young as 2 years of age on up to their teens, and sharing my knowledge of Piano Music and Art.  I started taking piano lessons at the age of 4 and have sat for exams through the Royal Schools of Music, London England, UK.  I have completed both Pianoforte’ and Theory of Music examinations from The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, London England, UK:  (Royal Academy of Music, The Royal College of Music, etc).  I also enjoy sketching, painting, and designing Art.  I find that both music and art to be the center of joy, healing, harmony and inspiration.  I always considered music as well as art, the healing arts, to bring a lot of joy, creative expression, peace and also a lot of accomplishment and self confidence.  I consider teaching to be a wonderful opportunity to not only enjoy what I do, but to also tap into the creative potential that each child has within themselves to reach their potential and to also help them with their accomplishments.  I strongly believe that when a child learns music and art, it is also the seed for that child to do well in academia, to heal, to express themselves, and to also build a strong network and work ethic to achieve goals.

Apart from teaching music and art, I am also a graduate of the University of Washington, Business School, and I have completed a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management.  In my downtime as a hobby, I enjoy traveling and experiencing the joys of different countries, cultures, cuisines, people and exploring the Pacific North West with friends and family.
